You can display past data, when available, using the Time Line Controls at the bottom of the page.
To view past data recorded by the stations:
Click on the time slider button and drag
it to the time in the past that you want to view. The time slider
text will display the selected time and how much it differs from the
current time:
Wait a while until the data is updated. All parameters recorded by the station will be displayed in the Map View, the Station Summary View, and the Station Wall.
To view how the weather conditions have developed, drag the time slider to another point in time, for example, an hour later.
When playing back animated data in the Map View, the data in the Station Summary View is updated when you pause the animation to show the data available at the time that you paused at.
To get back to current observations, click the Current Time button. The time slider will jump to the current point in time and the text will change into "Now".
Wait a while until the data is updated.
To view forecast data for a future time, if available from the forecast provider:
Click on the time slider and drag it to the desired time in the future that you want to view. The time slider text will show the selected time and how much it differs from the current time.
Wait a while until the map is updated.
NOTE: For the forecast data:
Only the data provided by your forecast provider will be displayed. The data set displayed in forecasts typically differs from the observation data set.
In Map View, stations which have no forecast information available will be shown as grey.
In Station Summary View, stations which have no forecast information available will not be displayed at all.

To play back animated data, such as radar
image and thermal map data development, click the 
button next to the time line. The button is displayed only when
a layer that can be animated is selected.
Wait a while until the data has been updated.
The data will be played back starting from 6 hours before the current time, or from the position of the time slider. The playback will end at the current time and start over until you pause the animation.
NOTE:
Other data on other views are not updated
during animation and side panel controls are disabled.
To pause the animation, click the 
button.
Also other activities on the map, such as clicking on the map, zooming
in/out, clicking the Current Time
button, and clicking on the disabled side panel will pause the animation.
NOTE: When you pause the animation, the system updates the data in station markers and the Station Summary View to show the data available at the time that you paused at.
To
continue playback, click the
button again.
To change the playback speed (1x slowest,
5x fastest), select from the list:
